Your work stays yours.

Styli never sells or shares your data, shows no ads and sets no tracking cookies. Your measurements are never sent to the AI. Here is exactly what is kept, and where.

On this device

Your studio (collections, sketches, measurements, notes, patterns and conversations) is saved first in your browser's own storage on this device (IndexedDB), so Styli keeps working when you are offline. Clearing site data or using a private window removes the copy on that device; signing in again brings your studio back from your account.

Your account

Styli needs an account. When you create one and agree, your studio is also stored in your Styli account so you can open it on your other devices: collections, sketches and images, patterns, notes, conversations and your body measurements. It is kept in Styli's database and file storage (Supabase), private to your account: other Styli users can't see it. Changes sync when you're online; offline, they wait on the device. Signing out keeps the studio on the device unless you choose to remove it; on a shared computer, choose Sign out and remove your studio from this device. The settings for this device's backup folder never leave it. Your account also keeps the times you made a new pattern, only to apply the daily limit.

When you ask Styli

Make pattern sends the sketch image, its material and your description of it through the Styli endpoint to Anthropic, the AI provider, so it can read the garment. Measurements are never sent to the AI. The advanced tools can also send a sketch with your construction notes, a question you ask about construction options, or a chat message, only when you use them. Drafting, editing, printing and saving run in your browser.

Save a separate copy

Your account keeps a copy of your studio, but you can also keep your own: use Save project to download a .styli file and keep it somewhere safe. That file holds private material such as measurements, notes and conversations, so share it with care.

Sharing your work

Nothing is published by Styli. You decide what to share: a lookbook PDF, a pattern file, or a .styli project file.

Payments

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record. Your card details and billing address go to Paddle, never to Styli. Paddle tells Styli which plan your account has, so it can be applied. See Paddle's own privacy notice for how it handles your payment data.

Cookies

Styli sets only what it needs to work: a small signed cookie that counts your daily AI allowance, your sign-in (kept in this browser) and your saved choice here. It uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Visits to the public pages (not the studio) are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not build a profile of you or follow you between sites. When you open checkout, Paddle loads its own payment window and may use cookies to process and secure the payment; see Paddle's notice. Change your choice any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

Error reports and feedback

When something breaks in Styli, a short technical report goes to Sentry, our error-tracking service, so it can be fixed: what failed, on which page, and the browser. It never includes your name, email, IP address, sketches, measurements or patterns. Feedback you send with the Feedback button is kept with your account so we can reply; a copy of the message, without your email, also goes to Sentry so we notice it quickly.

Your rights and contact

You can download your work (Save project), delete any design, and ask for your account and everything in it to be erased, or for a copy of what it holds. Write to matthewives.co@gmail.com.
