Terms of service

The service

Styli turns a fashion sketch, a description of the garment and body measurements into a sewing pattern, with a fit report, toile tests and sewing instructions. An AI model reads the sketch and description; the pattern itself is drafted by Styli's own software.

A sewing pattern is a starting point, not a guarantee of fit. Bodies, fabrics and printers vary. Always check the 5 cm test square, sew a toile and check the fit before cutting your final fabric.

Your account

You need an account to use Styli, and you must be at least 16 years old. Keep your password private: you are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at matthewives.co@gmail.com if you think someone else has used it.

Plans and payment

Styli is offered on paid plans, billed monthly or yearly:

• Student: $3.90 a month, 2 patterns a week.
• Pro: $11.99 a month, 2 patterns a day.
• Unlimited: $19 a month, unlimited patterns.

A yearly plan is paid once a year and costs less than twelve monthly payments: Student $30, Pro $90, Unlimited $110 a year. Prices are set in US dollars and may be shown in your currency. Depending on where you live, sales tax or VAT is included in the price or added at checkout; the checkout shows the total before you pay. Every account can make one new pattern without a plan. The Student plan is for people in education; we may ask for proof, such as a school email, and may move you to another plan if it can't be given. A pattern counts when it is first drafted; adjusting it, downloading it again or exporting it in another format does not count.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns, and its own buyer terms apply to your purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or the link in your receipt; your plan then stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If prices change, we will tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal.

Refunds

New subscriptions can be refunded in full within 14 days. See the refund policy.

Your work

Your sketches, descriptions, measurements and the patterns made from them are yours. You give Styli permission to store and process them only to run the service for you: to read the sketch, draft and keep your patterns, and sync your studio. We do not use your designs to train AI models, and we do not sell or share them.

You must have the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload someone else's designs or images without permission.

Fair use

Do not misuse Styli: no attempts to break or overload it, to get around plan limits, to access other people's accounts, or to resell access. The Unlimited plan is for your own design work and your studio; automated or bulk use that harms the service for others is not allowed. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why when we can.

Responsibility

We work to keep Styli accurate and available, but it is provided as it is. We are not responsible for fabric, time or materials lost because a pattern did not fit or a print was scaled, which is why the test square and the toile exist.

As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Ending

You can stop using Styli and cancel at any time. You can ask us to erase your account and everything in it at matthewives.co@gmail.com. We may end the service with at least 30 days' notice, refunding any unused part of a yearly plan.

Changes

We may update these terms as Styli changes. For important changes we will tell you by email or in Styli before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of North Macedonia, without taking away the protection of the consumer law where you live. Questions: matthewives.co@gmail.com.
